They immediately started their plans by donating to one hundred impoverish people around the capital city. Their aim was to establish and independent organization that focuses on tackling social suffering, social determinant of health, conducive ecosystem for humans and animals and climate change. Twenty members later joined the drives, Doctors, lawyers, environmentalists, economists, accountants, CHOs, and social workers. All these people believed that all people should have access to equity and equitable healthcare, conducive ecosystem regardless of gender, race, religion, creed or political affiliation, and that people’s need for food, good health and clean environment outweigh respect for national boundaries.

(ReCoNet)

Reconet was founded in 2023 by three Sierra Leoneans and one Chinese. One of the Sierra Leoneans and the Chinese were colleagues working on a research program with e-global as student of UGHE and Virgina respectively. Before the formation, the three Sierra Leoneans had the same vision of transforming Sierra Leone and Africa one day by forming a coalition. Its inception came after the 26th November 2023 Coup d’état in Sierra Leonean of which the one from UGHE was for vacation in his country day before the coup.

He started receiving calls from his colleagues’ researchers as to whether they could help him with some things because of what was happening just few hours after he arrived for his vacation, what he told them was ‘Don’t help me, let help the impoverished people’.
