Health Project
ReCoNet as an organization gives support to strengthen primary healthcare clinics, medical services, conduct health promotion and educational campaigns that prevent and control diseases. We also work to improve maternal and child healthcare access to help mitigate maternal and child mortality and morbidity rate.
Environment Project
ReCoNet work very hard to protect forests and biodiversity, promote sustainable land use practice, educate and encourage people on reforestation and afforestation and discourage on disforestation and pouching for conducive ecosystem and allow human to get fresh air.
Agriculture Project
We work to promote organic farming and agroforestry, Agric-extension, livestock and poultry for self-reliant and to help boost Agric-market. Reconet also encourage local farmers to carryout climate-resilient crops practices. Support farmers with inputs, equipment and seedings to enhance their agricultural activities.
Animinal
Reconet believe in the prevention, control and management of animal is equally important to prevent human from getting disease, hence would be working with its veterinarians to carry out communities sensitization on animal health, surveillance activities of zoonotic diseases, vaccination and treatment of animals and at also work with Government to strengthen policies of animal health.
Water Project
Water is live and most disease of humans are as a result of faecal-oral, Reconet believe people shouldn’t get sick from what they eat or drink, hence working with communities to identify and assess quality water system is key strategies. Adequate water conservation measure and providing training on water sanitation and hygiene.
Food Project
Healthy diet/ balance diet for all is paramount for human immune system and heathy life. Reconet working with local farmers would make organic local food available on market and would distribute food aid to vulnerable population at hospitals and charity homes. Sensitization on supplementary feeding, food processing and other nutritional educational programs is key to our mission.
Disaster/Shelter Project
Disaster Preparedness and Response to prevent death is a major concern therefore, Reconet works closely to develop disaster response plans, risk assessments and early warning system. Support with essential supplies and services to disaster affected people.
